Travelling

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE A PASSPORT

Travelling is always fun, challenging, memories, knowledge, exploring, dreams, shopping and lot more. Travelling is since civilization and in my words; to be civilized you need to travel.

|| “Live your life by a compass, not a clock.” – Stephen Covey

There are people, who earns to travel but still there are few, who travel just to click picture, post on social media or leave the home behind to do whatever they want. True travelling is about fun beyond our imagination. I assume that everyone went on a holiday at least once. So, go in your past and think how we have travelled.

Normally, most of us booked a hotel (if it includes a night stay) and went to that destination. After hotel stay, eating food, doing shopping, exploring the destination, we returned back to our normal routine. And we feel fresh enough. But now, plan your next trip as in three phases i.e. Pre-Tour, On-Tour & Post Tour.

PRE-TOUR: Before leaving for a single or multiple destination trips, first gather information like, history & climate condition of the place, what must to see, what to see if extra time is there, what to avoid, what is the speciality of the place, what food to taste, what we need to shop (which we not find in other place), experience the culture with locals (if possible). This is important for better planning of your trip and arranging the services accordingly.

ON-TOUR: Now assume being at your destination. You can’t enjoy or relate the importance of that place if you don’t have knowledge about the same. For example, you are at the Taj Mahal and when you see it, you don’t feel it special & just click the picture & leave the destination. How can you enjoy a mausoleum (a building housing a tomb)? But, when you know the history, then you can relate that how beautifully it has been made at that era for a purpose. You will feel like being a Shah Jahan and the memories will be unparalleled. The same way you can taste the authentic food, shop the authentic items, feel the essence of that place by indulging yourself. Most important, respect the culture of the destination, do not disturb their culture, always maintain cleanliness and obey their rules.

POST-TOUR: After returning back and proper rest, make sure to summarize your trip. Thank the people, who add-up the memories for your trip. If possible share the experiences on social media & blog post that what you have enjoyed the most and what others to avoid? What you've learned from that place in terms of knowledge & culture and inculcate in your life.

This way, you will feel like a proud responsible tourist who enjoys the trip in true sense and you will have the satisfaction of worth visit.

Happy Travelling

ULIHATU - The Nature's Paradise

ULIHATU - The birth place of Bhagwan Birsa Munda

Ulihatu is an interior place in Khunti District and it is almost 60 kms from Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi, Jharkhand. Now, why my first article is about Ulihatu? Because, I had recent visit to this place and had unforgettable memory. I was in Ranchi & my co-brother-in-law suggested this place. Being in travel trade, I wanted to explore this "unexplored destination" which is the birth place of Bhagwan* Birsa Munda.

Bhagwan Birsa Munda is very famous freedom fighter and the entire Jharkhand praises him a lot. I wanted to visit his birth-place and it was amazing feeling seeing his ancestral home. This is now renovated by Jharkhand Government. Apart from this historical importance, this place is very rich in flora & fauna and I want to emphasis on this part.

Video featuring the journey to Ulihatu

The journey from leaving the Khunti city till Ulihatu is just awesome. This journey was off-beat with smooth pitch road, greenery was unparalleled and the experience was just unforgettable. There were so many trees, which were huge and beyond ages. So, the Ulihatu is about terrains, mountains, small streams & the lovely people.

I've just captured only 10% of the visit in my camera as I was on the steering wheel. Also, I was there for short visit as I didn't expected this much from this unexplored place. After visiting this place, I felt Ulihatu of Jharkhand from Bhagwan Birsa Munda fame is not less exciting & amazing than Shimla, Manali & others hill stations. This place is so natural & undisturbed.

Whenever, I will visit Ranchi, Jharkhand again, I will make sure to visit Ulihatu with ample of time, so that I can get more videos & photos to promote this place. People here are responsible & co-operate with outer world people. We need to care their privacy & their Jungle, Nature, Land & animals.

I will appreciate if you can share your valuable comments on this post. I will also incorporate your suggestions. Thank you.
